A 5 skein gradient set dyed from our Wood Violet colorway. The darkest skein in this set is the regular strength of our Wood Violet color. It reminds us of the patches of violets up at Harris Park in the spring. This deep purple lightens into a lovely lilac color.

This set consists of five 100 gram skeins. If you want something different, please visit our Custom Orders page.

Our yarn is mill spun from Shaniko wool. This wool is from the Shaniko Wool Company, a U.S. farm group based in Oregon that certifies all of their wool to the Textile Exchange's Responsible Wool Standard and through Nativa Regen. These certifications ensure that our yarn is sourced using responsible, sustainable practices.

Washing Instructions:

We recommend that all of our yarns are handwashed with a gentle wool wash and laid flat to dry. However, our superwash yarn will tolerate being machine washed on gentle in a garment bag.

Color Variation & Dye Lots:

Oregon Fiber Garden yarns are hand dyed in small batches. We do not have dye lots. Each skein is an individual work of art. As with most handmade art, there is potential for variation in the skeins. When filling orders with multiple skeins of the same color, we will do our best to try to make sure that all of the skeins we send you visually match each other.

Also, all screens show color differently. All 3 of us have laptops that show our pictures as different colors. We used the apple laptop to edit these pictures because we felt its screen was the most accurate to true color. We included the color descriptions at the top of the products to help with the color discrepancy between screens.

Our superwash bases tend to take dye more vibrantly than our non-superwash bases. When you select the base you want, it will display a picture of the dye on the same type of base. Currently we have dyed and photographed this color on both our superwash and non superwash fingering weight yarns.

We are currently dyeing our yarn to order, so please give us a few days to get your order ready. We are currently unable to dye on Thursdays and Fridays.
